Real Estate SEO Company - what do you need to know?

Jul 31st 2019 #RealEstateSEO

Below we will tell you 5 points of what to look at the Real Estate SEO company. Let's get straight to it.

1. Experience.

Nowadays, everyone wants to claim themselves as SEO company. But do they really? Don't hesitate to ask about their experience and how exactly they are going to do SEO for you. Will they build you a website as well? What's their experience in that? All those factors are part of SEO. Without a fast, good looking and reliable webiste you won't get far with your organic rankings even if  you spend thousands dollars a month.

2. Content is King and that didn't change.

Ok, so you have your new website now - that's a good start. Now what about the content? Fresh and quality content is what Google likes the most. You won't be able to get on the first page of google for any kind of keywords without it. Make sure that your website will have good quality content and specifically designed landing pages to get your leads. Make sure that your website will have blog functionality and most importantly, blog posts. Not just 1 in 3 months, but constantly adding content will help you to achive that very desired first page. If you don't have time for that - it's absoultely fine - there are spicific real estate copywriting services available. Use them. Ask your Real Estate SEO company if they have a copywriter on site and samples of his/her work.

3. Backlinks Building. Why and How?

Backlink is a link one website gets from another website. Backlinks make a huge impact on a website's prominence in search engine results. This is why they are considered very useful for improving a website's SEO ranking. Search engines calculate rankings using multiple factors to display search results.

Not all backlinks created equally. To get quality backlinks requires a lot of work and time. That's where the majority of time will be spent. Ask your Real Estate SEO company what kind of backlinks they can get for you. The 2 key parameters to ask about is the DA (domain authory) and PR (page rank)

4. Press Release submission. Extremely useful.

You may read a few PRs (press releases) from different stock market companies already so you know what they look like and what they for. What you may not think of is that how much instant exposure to your Real Estate Business they can bring. PRs usually submitted to over 300 sources, and all of them are high traffic and respectable domains. Ask your SEO company if they do that.

5. Educate yourself.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in your specialty bubble, so when you start working with folks on other teams with other specialties, it’s just as easy to forget that they don’t know what you know.

PR professionals aren’t taught about the impact that online earned media can have on SEO and keyword rankings, so before you dive in with your handful of requests, educate them on the hows and the whys. Do this in shorter sessions over a few weeks, rather than one long session, and most importantly, educate them on what they’ll be able to get out of the relationship.

This shouldn’t just be one-sided, though. Just like PR isn’t taught SEO, SEO isn’t taught PR, so reach out to your counterparts to better understand their jobs and their roles. For example, media outreach is just one portion of the job of an SEO and content marketer, but it’s an expertise your PR counterparts know and understand well.
